Bad losers

Wow the Japanese are really taking losing badly. They are threatening legal action against the IRB unless it holds another vote on the hosting of the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

What I am surprised about is that the threatened lawsuit is not on procedural grounds (which sometimes you can prevail on) but on the basis of Winston-type made-up unsubstantiated allegations about corruption. They haven’t provided it seems a shred of proof – merely asserted something.

Boy at the next Sevens tournament will I be cheering for any team that plays Japan – even if it is Australia!
