ARC wants to ban palm trees!

Wayne Mapp has helpfully highlighted that the Auckland Regional Council is looking to ban palm trees in Auckland. No this is not a joke!

The reason for the proposed ban? 21 children have been admitted to Starship hospital with phoenix palm-related injuries during the past five years.

Hey look, let’s just ban children from going outdoors. That way they can’t harm themselves on those nasty palm trees.
