A bad start for Shane Jones

I’ve been quite a fan of Shane Jones. Accepting that from time to time Labour will be in Government, I was quite pleased that they had managed to get someone like Jones as an MP, instead of just another unionist or lecturer.

But my God someone should tell him the job of Select Committee Chair is not to act like a bully and sneer and put down a witness that his own Committee asked to appear.

Regardless of whether or not you agree with Ian Fraser’s views on what has happened at TVNZ, the behaviour of Jones is appalling.
