Safe Crimes for Criminals

The Police has usefully published a list of crimes they are now too busy to investigate. This will be very useful for criminals, as they now know what crimes they can commit with minimal risk.

Commercial burglary, repeat break-ins, fraud, theft from cars and shops, and criminal damage are now all effectively penalty free.

This of course is unrelated to the fact that NZ has less police per 10,000 people than Australia, UK and US.
