Judith Collins has said she is going to refuse in future to sit behind the men at Maori ceremonies which are held on state properties. She has said she will observe custom when a guest on maraes, but not as an MP when on publicly owned premises.

Unlike Josie Bullock she can’t be sacked for refusing to sit down the back.
