Even feathered birds can’t refer to birds

Sandra Coney is upset about a public transport ad which has a cartoon Pokeno, Maxx, saying “there were some nice birds” in town.

Yes really.

The interesting thing is that the ad had been vetted as acceptable by the ARTA’s comms and marketing team – all of whom are women, and the ad was designed by a woman.

So all those nasty women are letting the sisterhood down. Shame! 🙂
