Ministers speculations

NZPA has a story on potential new Ministers. I note that in several stories Winnie Laban has been mooted as a replacement for Phillip Field if he is not reappointed.

Rather sad tokenism that she is only mentioned as a replacement Pacific Islander in the Ministry, not any talk of qualifying in her own right. I mean if she is good enough to be a Minister that should hold irrespective of whether there is another Pacific Islander as a Minister.
