Radio New Zealand has suspended Sean Plunkett because he was “confrontational” in an interview with Jeanette Fitzsimons yesterday (I understand he kept asking her if she would apologise to National for alleging they were behind the anti Greens pamphlet).

I’m sorry, but for fuck’s sake!!

Pilots suspended for jokes about Helen, and media suspended for being confrontational to the leader of a political party!!!

If being confrontational to the degree Plunkett was, now means you should be suspended, then Linda Clark must be due to have her right hand chopped off.

Is someone at Radio NZ high on P???

John Campbell must be glad he doesn’t work for National Radio. Under this regime he would have been executed for his confrontational interview on Corngate last election.

I now look forward to TVNZ, TV3, Radio NZ, Newstalkz ZB, NZ Herald and Fairfax suspending their entire press galleries for being confrontational with Don Brash this week.
