Today’s Letter

Was very pleased to read in today’s Letter from Prebble that a brother of the Sgt Roy Prebble killed in WWII has been located. Allan Prebble was too young to go to war, but lost both his brothers in it. It reminds you of the huge sacrifices made by that generation.

The letter also has a thought provoking piece on Islam pointing out that “the Koran is like a pick-and-mix selection. If you want peace you can find peaceable verses. If you want war, you can find bellicose verses
