Party Leader Blogs

Stuff has ‘blogs‘ for each of the party leaders (except United Future – quick go sue someone) which they say will be updated two or three times a week.

While I commend the effort to let people read first hand what the Leaders are saying, I’m not sure I’d quite call them blogs as many of the traditional elements (index, categories, archives, links, feedback, personal touch) are missing.

All of them look like they were written by press secretaries, except for Jeanette Fitzsimons and Rodney Hide as they give first hand accounts of the TV3 debate. People want to read on blogs stuff which isn’t like a press release. Make it personal.
