Party Finance Spokesperson Scores
They all did okay – no-one stunning and no-one flopped.
Michael Cullen, Labour – 8/10
No sign of the razor wit. Made his case well, but not sexy.
John Key, National – 8/10
John made the case for tax relief well.
Winston Peters, NZ First – 7/10
Actually showed some of his knowledge as a former Treasurer on what causes inflation.
Rodney Hide, ACT – 8/10
Very passionate and connected well.
Rod Donald, Greens – 7/10
Very solid, but opposition to free trade not go down well.
Gordon Copeland, United Future – 8/10
The surprise almost star. Proposed comprehensive tax changes, and made good point about business backgrounds of most of their MPs.
