Aristotle’s Books
Sadly Aristotle’s Books closed on Saturday. It was great having a dedicated bookshop for classical liberal publications.
On the plus side, by chance, I got to Auckland around an hour before they closed and picked up 14 books (non-fiction) and 19 videos (just popular movies or TV series) for around $140. That is a seriously good bargain – thanks James.
I am now the proud owner of:
* The Holy Qur’an
* A City Possessed by Lynley Hood
* The future of freedom by Fareed Zakaria
* A biography of Hitler by John Toland
* The 1788 publication “The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire” by Edward Gibbon
Now I just need time to read them all!
