About to fly out from Frankfurt Airport. The security to fly to the US from here, as compared to from from Auckland, is immense. You have seperate check in areas for flights to the US. You go through two lots of x-ray checks and then have a third check where everyone is manually friske,d even if metal detector is okay.

And when I say frisked, I mean groped all over. And no she wasn’t cute – she was a he. Despite wearing sneakers they not only had to come off, but even patted down the feet to check nothing in my socks. Also checked behind my belt buckle. None of this when flying in from Auckland.
