PM right on NZ First super promises

The PM is correct in saying the promise by NZ First to boost superannuation payments to 72.5 per cent of the average wage is a bad thing.

The current superannuation scheme is already the most generous in the world. It is barely sustainable into the future with an ageing population. Promising to increase payemnts even further is the height of irresponsibility, as it will in fact increase the chance of requiring major changes in the future.
