Pay-as-you-drive

The UK Government is looking to scrap fuel tax and replacing it new satellite technology to monitor vehicles to create a “pay-as-you-drive” charge.

I think this is very much the way of the future. There are privacy issues to overcome, but I like the concept of paying more to use certain roads at peak times etc.
