One Network News Poll June 2005
Tonight’s One Network News/CB Poll continues the trend of all the other polls showing Labour has gone downhill since the budget.
Party vote results are:
National 43% (+6)
Lab 41% (-3)
Maori 2% (nc)
ACT 2% (nc)
NZF 7% (-1)
United 1% (nc)
Green 3% (-1)
Now on these poll results, and assuming no electorate seats change hands, Parliament would be:
National 55 (+28)
Labour 52 (+1)
NZ First 9 (-4)
Maori 3 (+2)
United 1 (-7)
Progressive 1 (-1)
Green 0 (-9)
ACT 0 (-9)
Total 121 (+1)
Potential Governments would be:
Nat/NZF 64 seats
Lab/NZF 61 seats
No Government could be formed without NZ First.
If the Maori Party wins more than 3 electorate seats, or the Greens do make 5%, then Labour would need one of those parties, *as well as* NZ First to form a Government.
