Maori Party call for Graham Kelly to resign

Labour appointed their former Mana MP, Graham Kelly, to be High Commissioner to Canada. And thanks to Mr McCully’s newsletter, the Maori Party have found out what a good job he is doing in representing New Zealand.

Talking on the Maori settlers, he said:

“Once they got to New Zealand they started fighting and eating each other, so there have been Maori wars ever since then.”

I just hope there was an MFAT staffer in the room when High Commissioner Kelly said this. They probably almost died on the spot.
