On Saturday was having a drink with Wine Guy and conversation turned to Star Wars and the difference between a Star Destroyer and a Super Star Destroyer.

Now my knowledge of them was not great, but I felt able to say “Yeah the Super Star Destroyers were large enough that you could see them against the Death Star, I think”.

Wine Guy responded “Yes you could because there were 22 miles long, and the diameter of the first Death Star was 120 miles and the second one was 160 miles diameter, so they were comparable”

I just stared in amazement, and then started laughing.
