Clark vs Peters

Whenever it is Clark vs Peters in the House, I suspect I am not the only one who doesn’t know who to cheer for.

Anyway I will give kudos to Clark (or her staff who did the research) for pointing out to Peters that when he was Deputy PM there were 2,627 spontaneous asylum seekers and last year there were only 714 – a 73% drop.

Peters is very effective at attacking others, but in almost 30 years in politics he has achieved almost nothing. Since he returned to the House in 1984 he has gone into every single election voting against the Government of the day on confidence and supply.
