They have made a strategic blunder on the subject of tax and about time too. They have spent money like a drunken sailor in a bar shouting everyone in sight except the one picking up the tab. They have sneered at the taxpayer saying they are rich etc etc and deserve nothing. The fact that the damp tax cuts dominated the coverage was in no small measure to their President calling it a deep dark secret. Bet Helen is furious.

I’m not surprised Cullen’s furious at the tax issue dominating coverage. After all, if you invested as much time and resources as Labour has to manipulate the media, you’d certainly expect them to help you out in the appropriate way wouldn’t you?

Labour’s assiduous media management has been obvious to those with eyes, from the start. It is a disservice to citizens since it prevents the truth from being revealed. Clark alluded to one of the main weapons – privileged ministerial access – in one of her recent Doone or DBP press conferences.

It is slimey, sleazy, dishonest, underhand and typical of commie lefties who can’t let their policy speak for itself cause it’s so lousy, but rather have to disguise their incompetence through underhand, dishonest and corrupt methods lest the truth be revealed.

Finally some (a few) of the journos are starting to speak the truth. All I can say is, don’t stop, and I hope that some day, someone reveals exactly how this incompetent govt was able to disguise itself for so long.

Waiting for the “truth to be revealed”, surely you mean the polls will change when all is revealed. Until then keep blaming the media, they surely will take up your cause that way

Not too happy on the tax front myself, since I’m in the happy 11%, but if you lot can’t tell the difference between Labour and communism, goodness me. Wait until they start nationalising the means of production and exchange, eh?
