Most of my blog stuff is quick and dirty pieces. To get some really good intellectual reading I recommend people subscribe to upton-on-line. The latest issue has thought provoking pieces on brain-drain and republicanism plus a piece from my former work colleague Bernard Cadogan on constitutionalism.
