More on spanking case

I blogged on Sunday after the case of the father who was convicted of assaulting his child, despite claiming a S59 defence.

Sage thought this was political correctness gone mad, while I was less sure, commenting that the media did not give many details.

The great thing about blogs, is you get the debate that the media rarely can cover. And this has led to the mother of the child posting on Sage’s site, giving background that the media has not covered. She makes a compelling case that this was violent behaviour, not just a case of disciplining a child.

It is a pity this is not known more widely, except to those who read blogs!
