More on cellphones in prisons

It turns out there is one prison in NZ that uses cellphone blocking technology – the privately run Auckland Central Remand Prison. Yeah, that’s right – the one the Government is sacking the management of, purely because they are private sector.

Perhaps if the Government did not spend so much time on trying to eliminate the private sector, they would have time to actually make sure the publicly run prisons reach the same standards and you know stop prisoners running their crime empires by text messaging.
