Labour List Speculation

Helen Bain writes in the SST that Shane Jones will be the highest ranked non MP on Labour’s List.

Jones is certainly a star and has a very impressive record.

Other newcomers who are rumoured to get potentially winnable places are:

“former party president Maryan Street, who is close to Clark, Aucklander Stephen Ching, who Labour hopes will help capture the Asian vote, unionists Lesley Soper, Darien Fenton and Jen McCutcheon, and Wellington lawyer Charles Chauvel”

Just what Labour needs – even more union offiicials in Caucus!
