Artists-on-the-dole scheme

The Dominion Post endorses National’s policy to scrap the artists-on-the-dole scheme.

They say “The scheme, which has about 1200 people on it, simply does not stand up to scrutiny. It is a symptom of a Government that has more money than it needs.”
