A good candidate

National’s Otaki Candidate, Nathan Guy, hosted a function with Katherine Rich in Paraparaumu last night. Normally these sort of things get a dozen or so people, so I was surprised to see 40 – 50 people turn up to the wonderful Wave Cafe (Roti Chicken Rolls – yum) at Paraparaumu Beach.

Nathan has only been the candidate since late last year but has made a real impact, as the montage of media stories shows. He led the charge on saving the local rescue helicopter service.
