One can have an academic debate about whether NCEA is good or bad, but the reality is that if employers are saying “we had no idea how to interpret the results” you have a problem because the main use of school qualifications is to help students get an appropriate job.

And don’t even start me on the crap where they only list what you pass, and miss out what you don’t. Almost Orwellian.
