Thursday Night Curry

Stats Girl turned me down for dinner (some feeble excuse about prior plans just because I asked at 4.50 pm) so I went to Thursday Night Curry instead. Only my second time attending so a few new faces for me.

As I am only a pseudo-geek I made sure I had read my daily slash dot and went off ready to debate/talk about IPv6, VoIP, Enum, M$, Spam etc. Someone introduces me as the local neo-conservative blog and recent US exiles debate US and world politics with me for most of the night, instead of geeky topics. We did get onto favourites movies though.

Was in fact a very enjoyable night, once I had convinced people I don’t actually support torture, or at least not practise it myself very often.
