The return of Banksie

The SST had an article on Banskie returning to radio talkback land (I have been listening to him – he is very funny) and also his political aspirations.

I have to say I would be very very surprised to see him as a National MP again. ACT is far more likely I would say. In fact remionds me of a conversation I overheard at the press gallery xmas party.

ACT MP: You’vd been in a Caucus with Banksie, haven’t you?
NATIONAL MP: Yep, for three years
ACT MP: And what was he like as a member of Caucus?
NATIONAL MP: Reckless, undisciplined, contrary, independent, and pushes his own pet issues
ACT MP: Great, he’ll fit in perfectly with the ACT Caucus!
