When you have to pay your staff 250% of their normal wages, it can kill profitabilityin a big way. If the staff normally got paid $12 and hour they are now getting $30 an hour.

Which would be nice for the staff, except the businesses do not open as it is unaffordable so end result is businesses owners make no money, staff make no money, and customers have less choice.

Some will claim it is great that the staff then get the day off. Except they have had the choice of deciding to work removed from them. What is meant to give them more money means they get less money.
