Shish Mahal

Got a call from Ross Friday afternoon to come to Malthouse for a drink. Got there to be pleasantly surprised that Kate was there, back in NZ after two years in the UK.

Spent many hours catching up, swapping stories, and eventually we all headed off to dinner as Shish Mahal which is one of the more hidden restaurants in Wellington, being upstairs at the corner of Cuba Street and Manners Mall.

The curries were pretty damn good actually. Not as good as the London ones according to Kate, but I enjoyed them. The staff were very helpful also explaining which ones go well together as we of course always share each other’s.

Kate incidentially will be looking for a job to supplement her income while she does her masters of design (she is, amongst other things, a very good painter) so I’ll do an ad in the near future.
