Posting Check

Readers will have noted a fair bit of comment spam lately. Even with tools to delete it, it can take over an hour a day sometimes to delete and blacklist it all.

Gordon, my site host, has kindly introduced a feature to reduce the spam. It means when you post a comment you now have to enter in a validation number that will be displayed to you as a graphic. This should put paid to most of the spam as it is done by bots.

Less hassle than a registration system, so hopefully it will do the job.
