Candidates can make a difference

It is great that ACC have backed down on their daft plan to scrap the rescue helicopter service based in Palmerston North.

Nathan Guy, National’s Otaki candidate, has led the charge on this issue. For months he has been organsing petitions, getting media coverage, arranging local MPs to raise the issue etc and all that hard work has paid off. The petition got more than 10,000 signatures in Horowhenua.

It’s a prime example of the difference a good hard working candidate can make.
