Here’s a good Judge
Judge Tony Adeane has rightfully blasted the Probation Service as they have kept stating that some Maori have been offending due to “social obligations” related to his culture.
Judge Adeane stated:
“I invite the probation service to consider whether this kind of observation is appropriate, and if they do, to consider also that the Sicilian mafia operates under a code of family and silence every bit as strong as any notion of whanau, and to suggest that that creates some sort of legitimate sense of obligation to commit crime, in my view, is close to perverse.”
Some good common sense.
