Groan

Just now in the House, NZ First Deputy Leader Peter Brown was asked to adjust his microphone. His attempt at humour saw him reply along the lines of that he was nervous about bending over to do so, because of the MPs behind him.

The groans were audible, as were the looks of horror from his own colleagues. The Speaker looked mortified and said he gives up, no doubt thinking what the several visiting MPs from overseas must be thinking.
