A new record for incompetence
Just 19 days ago Labour and Winston railroaded the foreshore legislation through Parliament under urgency. This was a hugely complex piece of law, and MPs were only given copies of what they had to vote on a few hours before the debate started. Many of them warned that this would lead to mistakes and bad law.
They were right. The law they rammed through accidentially nationalised all council-owned land reclaimed from the sea.
So just 19 days after passing a law, they have had to amend it. This is just pathethic.
