Viva La Republic

Both Lewis and I were elected to the National Council of the Republican Movement last night. I suppose this means that we have to start doing more than merely blogging about it 🙂

On a related issue I have to agree with the Olympic chef de mission Dave Currie that it would be good to have a flag that isn’t almost identical to Australia, and makes us look like we are part of the United Kingdom.

The black flag with the silver fern does it for me.
