Save the poor dying men

In the debate about race based funding formulas, Labour have asserted that this is a good idea in health because Maori die earlier than non Maori, so one must have extra targetted funding.

But as Dr Lynda Scott points out, men die on average 5 years younger than women. However no extra funding for men to stop them dying early.
