“Kill Bill”
Saw “Kill Bill” on Saturday and loved the film. Uma Thurman rocks, and Taratino is a genious with his plot shifts, use of black and white and even cartoon segments.
Had it confirmed it was a great film, when I saw on TV that night that the SPCS has called for the chief and deputy chief censor to be sacked for allowing the film through.
The film to be fair is incredibly violent and bloody. Even I winced at a couple of scenes, but the film would have lost all meaning with those scenes edited out. It is no way glorifies rape (in fact said rapist meets very nasty end) and the revenge killing concept has been used in hundreds of films.
The real reason the SCPS wants the Censors to be sacked is actually revealed in Stuff – because shock horror they are gay.
