I’m getting bored with this

The ongoing “cheeky darkie” saga is starting to get boring. While I stand by my original comments that what Holmes did was wrong, the longer this goes on the more sympathy I am getting for him. His rivals have been having a field day with this.

The latest action is an open letter signed by 55 academics. Quite frankly the fact Jane Kelsey signed it, is reason enough for me to disregard it. I am un-nerved by the fact I agree with what the Listener Editor said though.

The NZ Herald in their editoral reaches the same conclusion as me that enough is enough and says it is time to move on.
